Community guidelines
YogaTravel is small. It depends on each of us. Eight things we ask, in the spirit of yoga and travel.
- Be kind. Comment as you'd want to be spoken to.
- Share from the heart. Not for promotion, not for SEO, not for clout.
- No pricing in posts. Paid offerings belong on your personal website, not here. Retreats can mention that they exist; costs go off-site.
- Respect privacy. Don't share someone else's contact details, photos, or story without permission.
- No medical claims. Yoga supports wellbeing, but we don't promise to cure anything.
- No spam or repetition. One profile per person.
- No hate, harassment, or harm. Any content that demeans a person or group is removed.
- English for now. More languages as the community grows.
Breaking these may result in content being hidden or your account being suspended. Serious or repeat violations lead to account removal. Every moderation action is logged and visible to our admins.
How to report
On any comment or profile, click the "Report" action and pick a reason. A moderator will review — usually within 24 hours. We don't reveal the reporter's identity to the reported user.
If you're acted on
Moderation actions always include a reason. If you believe an action was a mistake, reply to the email (when enabled) or reach out and we'll look again.
